This time last year I was exhausted and worn down.  Certain things that had once been incredibly important to me, things like my health and fitness and spending quality time with my loved ones, had taken a back seat. 

I was simply trying to make it through the day.  I gained weight, lost touch with my friends and struggled to be the upbeat person I had always known myself to be.

It was time for a change.  I traveled to Spain for two months to complete the 500 mile Camino de Santiago and returned home excited to pursue a new career.  I became certified as a Relationship and Wellness Coach and am continuing my studies to become a Certified Personal Trainer.



Fast forward a year:  I am energized by life and finally feel happy again.  My passion for health and fitness has returned and I am on a mission to help as many people as possible escape the place I found myself not so long ago. 




 I have been an avid fitness enthusiast since the age of 16, actively seeking out challenging fitness routines and instructors that would push me to test my boundaries, consuming fitness products and experimenting with the newest trends for well over a decade now.  I regularly explore the latest superfoods and incorporate them into healthy meals.

This blog is the place where I share my journey with you. 

As someone who often gets bored of repeating the same routine day after day, I have decided to spend the next year experimenting with every different type of fitness routine I can find and then share the results with you.   I will provide unbiased reviews of fitness classes, workout dvds, healthy recipes and fitness products.  I am not tied to any particular brand or system.  This is simply me, a person with an extensive background in teaching and wellness, sharing my personal and honest opinions about health products and experiences. 

I also share the stories of my own personal journey to lose the extra 25 pounds I put on while teaching, a period in my life where gyms became nonexistent and brownies became my lifeline.  I provide candid anecdotes about the process of becoming functionally fit, losing weight and pursuing a healthy lifestyle. 

I share insights from my work with clients who I have motivated and taught about healthy living.  Each person’s health journey is a unique story and my work with others has helped me develop a better understanding of the process.
